This Octopus is beautiful! Konami has revealed new gameplay footage of the fun platformer Darwin's Paradox!
Publisher Konami and French ZDT Studio, which is managed by ex-head of Arkane Lyon Romuald Capron and founder of Focus Entertainment Cédric Lagarrigue, presented a review video of the funny game Darwin's Paradox!
Here's What We Know
Darwin's Paradox! is a humorous 2D platformer with Octopus as the protagonist. He finds himself on land, where he learns that one of the corporations is using his relatives to produce food and ink, becomes enraged and tries to stop the work process.
The authors showed gameplay footage with creative levels and unusual puzzles that don't look too difficult, but perfectly dilute the dynamic gameplay.
The cephalopod protagonist uses his tentacles to climb vertical surfaces, and once in the water he moves with increased speed, which allows him to dodge traps.
The game is made in a bright style, does not pretend to a serious narrative and will definitely allow you to have a great time.
The authors want their game to resemble a cartoon and, judging by the shown shots, they succeed.
When We Can Expect It
Darwin's Paradox! will release in 2025 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
